JF Lancelot founded Care Automation in May 2005 to offer technical expertise in the Health Care Technology field to vendors and hospitals.
Mr. Lancelot is an IT strategist with more than eighteen years of experience in the Health Care Information Technology field. With an educational background in Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence, psychology, and computer science, Mr. Lancelot has solved numerous technical problems such as implementing real-time clinical databases, distributed data acquisition networks, and has led teams of more than 20 engineers through implementing a highly scalable, high performance clinical information system in use today at large hospitals throughout the US and Europe. Today, Mr. Lancelot has three main area of interest: healthcare-oriented system architectures, clinical workflow enhancement through automation, and hard core IT issues such as reliability, fault tolerance, security, performance and scalability. Mr. Lancelot currently serves as Technical Advisor to Patient Care Technology Systems, a healthcare IT company with a software solution for hospitals.
Mr. Lancelot graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a BS in Cognitive Science with emphasis on Computation, attended the Necker Medical School in Paris, France and holds a Baccalaureate in Science (Mathematics and Physics), from the Lycee Buffon, Paris, France.
With the advent of Web Services technology and emerging healthcare standards, Mr. Lancelot is working towards helping achieve the holy grails of healthcare automation: optimized quality and outcomes, better clinical workflow, and improved patient safety. |
